Designers’ Kit
The Designers’ Kit collects the tools and guides produced by the TEAMCARE project to support Higher Education Institutions and VET designers with the instantiation of the “EU Curriculum for Specialists in Community-Based Interprofessional Teams (CBIT) for person-centred care” into a course adapted to their own national or institutional context.
For instance, it helps to choose between the two distinct versions of the EU Curriculum, each with a different credit range:
The COMPREHENSIVE version remains the standard, complete version of the curriculum, awarding between 20 and 40 ECTS. In this version, all Learning Outcomes are mandatory, and the curriculum is delivered in its full scope. This version was the one tested during the TEAMCARE pilot courses.
The ESSENTIALS version is a lighter alternative, ranging from 15 to 30 ECTS. This reduction is achieved through two mechanisms: adjusting the credit values assigned to individual Learning Outcomes and introducing the possibility of treating some LOs as optional - meaning they can be assigned 0 ECTS and excluded from the course if the designer deems them less essential for a particular context.
To this end, the kit includes a specific “web-based Course Design Tool” to help with your design choices step by step.
