Recommendations for policy makers/regulatory bodies in the social health sector, as well as Higher Education/VET providers

TEAMCARE Deliverable D7.3

The TEAMCARE Recommendations provide practical guidance on planning, funding and delivering training for Community-Based Interprofessional Teams: professionals from health, social care and community services who work together to coordinate care around people’s needs.

Drawing on the four pilots in Greece, Ireland, Italy and Poland, the document explains how to adapt the TEAMCARE Curriculum to different settings and organise the resources, staff support and quality arrangements needed for implementation.

It is intended for policymakers and regulatory bodies, health and social care organisations, education and training providers, and professional, community and service-user organisations.

Use the Recommendations when preparing a training programme or considering its funding and adoption. They help identify training needs, plan resources and staff time, agree responsibilities, define assessment and recognition arrangements, and review results before expanding provision.
