Roadmap for the extension of the TEAMCARE Curriculum to the training of other professionals
TEAMCARE Deliverable D7.4
The TEAMCARE Roadmap provides practical guidance for extending the project’s training offer to additional groups involved in community-based care: health and social care workers who do not meet the original Curriculum’s entry requirements, privately employed carers and informal carers.
Its purpose is to help organisations develop learning pathways that reflect learners’ actual roles, experience and support needs, with the aim of improving cooperation with Community-Based Interprofessional Teams and supporting person-centred care.
It is intended for public authorities, education and training providers, care organisations, employers, professional bodies, and organisations representing carers and people receiving care.
Use the Roadmap to identify learners’ needs, select and adapt learning outcomes, organise accessible training, and define assessment, recognition and support arrangements. It sets out a staged process for co-designing, piloting and reviewing adapted pathways before deciding on wider implementation.
The Roadmap is a framework for developing and testing new learning opportunities. Adapted programmes still need to be validated with their intended learners.
